Gratitude day 9
Ok so I have slacked off quite a bit. I am grateful for my husband letting me sleep in the last 2 days which were his days off and has taken care of me the last 2 days cause I have felt very sick. I am grateful for my ex husband being such a good dad to Katie and helping when ever we ask. I am also very very grateful that we have finally started the adoption process for Gavin! Can not wait for it to be done and no more worries. but that is another post for another day.

Gratitude day 6
I am grateful for peaceful lounge around the house days. Got to sleep in today and then just picked up a little then went back to bed for a nap with Dougie. And the other kids played quietly. It was very nice because we have had alot of busy days lately.

gratitude day 5
I am grateful for my bestest friend Mandy. She called me from her vacation in Hawaii to check on me and talked me down from my emotional crisis today. She always listens and is just there for me.

gratitude day 3
I am thankful for my mom and all that she does for me. She knew I was having a bad day just from the sound of my voice and came to help out. We have had our ups and downs all our life, but anyone who could have put up with me as a teenager and still love me is great.

Gratitude Day 1
I am gonna try doing gratitude days everyday this month. (stole Leaner's idea) Hopefully it will make this month better.
I am grateful for my husband. He has been home the last 5 days because of our anniversary but he has been a big help with the kids. Especially our little monster who has decided to test all his boundaries. Garrett also helped with our sick girls today and took me to the school to pick up Katie. He always helps me when I ask. Even if he worked a 12 hr shift he will still come home and cook dinner or hold Dougie so I can. I am grateful for all the things he does for me but also for our family.

6 years ago today I was laying in a hospital bed barely hanging on. I had rolled my car numerous times and had brain swelling and a broken spine in 3 places. I remember laying in the hospital and looking up to see my handsome angel standing over me telling me "You can't leave me, I love you too much already." He promised to be there no matter what and to help me.
We were suppose to spend 4 days together to get to know each other again after 8 years being apart. Well we spent those 4 days in the hospital with me learning to walk again then went back to Ely,NV to spend 4 more days together.
It was a very scarey time for me and he stood there and held my hand through it all. 6 years later he is still holding my hand through it all. I am glad he was there to help me get through it and he hasn't left my side since. I am so grateful for my angel. I know I have taken alot for granted lately with him. We do have rough times, but he has stood by my side for them all and has continued to love me and not let me give up.
6 yrs ago I was not a very happy person with myself or anyone around me I still occasionally have days like that but when I look into his eyes I know it will all be okay.
I honestly believe had he not been there that day I would have given up. He is the love of my life and my soul mate. I do not know what I would do without him in my life.

Summer craziness
Well it has started already! The crazy running around of our summers. Brendon is away at boy scout camp this week and Bethany is at horse camp this week. I have had some of my mouth worked on and still have more to go. Then tomorrow I go to get an ultrasound because my girl time each month is more like each week. Plus having 2 surgeries on that. Then Garrett has 2 weeks in the middle of June off and the boys go to another camp together at the end of June. Then Bethany goes to a youth retreat then girls camp in July. Plus somewhere in there I am gonna try to take a mommy vacation to see my friend in Washington. Wow it is gonna be a crazy summer for sure! Kinda excited about it though cause it keeps me busy.

Emotions
I am so conflicted emotionally right now. I have set up an appointment with the doctor to have the Essure procedure done. It kinda bothers me though. I know I have 5 kids which is really alot. With Dougie I knew I was done. I wanted a tubal right after I had Dougie but my Doctor was crappy and yeah didn't get it done. Now over a year later I finally have it scheduled. Now I question if we really are done. Like if I get it done I will be losing out on something. This is why I wanted it done right after I had Dougie so there was no question on my mind. I know it sounds weird cause I have so many but I love all my babies. I know it would be hard having anymore. Logically I know it is the best choice but emotionally it is killing me. And I can't talk about it with the hubby cause he will just think I am crazy. Plus it is a sore spot since he was suppose to go get the big V done before Dougie was born and he chickened out and has left it to me to get "fixed". I feel like curling up and crying.
*had to edit cause I knew we went through this before and I actually had a post April 8 2008 about it. Wasn't sure how to link to that post but seems like same feelings and emotions.
