Wow Long time

Didn't realize that it had been that long since I have posted anything. Lately we have been super busy and time has just flown by. The kids are in so many things right now that I feel like I am going nonstop. First there is Girls activity days for the oldest Girl and cub scouts for the 2 boys, Now Beth is in 2 different Christmas programs (one for the church and one for school) and Brendon is in the one for the school also. Then Beth has a science fair project we have been working on because she is required by her teacher to do one ( BTW don't know if I have mentioned, I SUCK at Science!) So G and I tried and found an easy one. Then we have had so many different doctor and dentist appointments. They have been messing with and changing Brendon's dosages since we got him so it has been a constant battle with mood swings and tantrums. Gavin guy has just kinda went with the flow of stuff, he has always been good about that. But the poor guy gets picked on so much by siblings that I feel bad when he gets older and is bigger than them and can give a little back. And on to the last child. Katie turned 4 in September, which I am still having a hard time dealing with. She has gotten so independent and has to have stuff her way. And she is always telling me " I am not a baby Mom, I am a Big Girl!" But with the holidays Katie's schedule has been all messed up so she has gotten grumpier and is now getting sick again. I hate this time of year with so much going on. G and I have a busy day Saturday even though it will be one of those days we don't want to do anything. We have a foster parent class in the morning that we have to take or we lose our license. The boys also have there rain gutter boat thing for cub scouts that morning ,which makes us sad because we are gonna miss it, then for the finally of the day the kids have their Christmas program at the church. Well enough of my complaining thanks for listening. I will post some picture of everything after this weekend.

Old Woman!!

Today It is my birthday. It really bothers me even though I am only 27 today I feel like I am 40. I told G he made me the old woman in the shoe. I feel like just yesturday I was a youn

g teenager and now I have 4 kids and a house and so much more. Don't get me wrong I do love my family alot but I wonder what has happen to the kid in me..... where have I gone?

Oh well........Happy Birthday to me!

So much going on....

Well Monday the kids started school. They wear uniforms this year so they had to match the first day of school which they all loved.

Also on Monday I had an MRI because of the migraines I have been getting. Let me tell you those machines are quite scary and make really annoying noises. We still haven't heard back from the doctor on the results. So hopefully that is a good sign.

On Tuesday my hubby had to go back to the eye doctor for a follow up appointment and they are still not sure what is wrong with his eye but it doesn't seem to be clearing up still.

On Wednesday we finally got Bren an appointment with a psychiatrist so we did his intake that day. Also the boys started cub scouts which they are very excited about.

Thursday was pretty slow compared to the rest of the week.

Friday was nice cause i had time with no kids. But that all changed at 3:20. We were trying to have the kids ride the city bus to school and see how that worked out but as I waited at their bus stop for them the bus stopped and the kids never got off so needless to say mom freaked, I drove around the housing complex and then up to the school and they were no where to be found. So I come home to get my phone and there they were playing around up stairs. Apparently they got off the bus somewhere else.

Mom and Dad have been super nice and helpful this week with letting us barrow the explorer since the school has only one bus and it is for the kids who are far away, even though when we signed them up they had said there would be a bus for Coolidge kids, So it is either we bring our kids to school or they ride the city bus. The problem with the city bus is it is so small that they may or may not have room for all the kids so the kids who didn't fit would have to wait a half hour for the next bus which would make them late to school. The only way we see this working is to take them to school in the morning so they are there on time but then let them ride the bus home in the afternoon since in the afternoons I don't have enough room in the vehicle to pick them up with watching my beautiful nieces. That and then we are trying to figure out a budget so we can afford a second bigger vehicle. Oh the joys of having a big family...

Introducing.....

The newest member of our family! We

got her a couple weeks ago but have finally named her. Her name is Skitter and she is 11 weeks old. She is so precious and good with the kids. And now once again I have a tortiose shell kitty.

2 Days and counting.

in just 2 days, that will seem to drag on as today already has, our son will be finally making his journey home. And in that same count down my oldest daughter will be beginning her journey to The heavenly father. Two very huge events happening on Thursday, we will be picking Brendon up from the airport and our Beth will be getting baptized that night.

God works in mysterious ways, Beth was supposed to have been baptized on Saturday but due to a little mix up couldn't be. But she also was kinda upset because we didn't bring Brendon home like we were supposed to so he would have missed it had it happened on Saturday. But since we had to change it Now he can be here which both of them are very happy about.

So happy it is only 2 days hopefully they will go by fast.

our son and our trip to Idaho

We went to Idaho last weekend hoping to bring our son Brendon back with us but there was a mix up with the tickets cause his case worker didn't listen to me so instead he will finally be coming home on the 26th. We had a really good time while we were up there and got to spend alot of time hanging out with him. We did realize that we were getting old and had a hard time after the second day cause our muscles hurt after all the football throwing and soccer ball kicking and hiking. We really need to get in shape to keep up with all of these kids. Plus in all of the chaos we actually got a little bit of us time in which was so nice. We keep forgetting to spend those little bits of time together lately because we get so busy with all these kids going different ways most days.

Brendon looked very good and was so excited to see us. We are all counting down the days and we call him everyday. And As soon as he gets on the phone it is "I only have .... days until I am home for good." Which of course brings tears to our eyes. It will be so nice to have all of our kidos in one place again. So we now only have 7 days left. Woot!

Going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...........

My mom came over on Thursday and we took the kids to the zoo. We got there about 10 and decided we were gonna spend the day there. That was until Katie matie decided to get onnerry. She wanted to be carried and then it was we needed to ride the train " right Now".
At one point I told Katie"God made legs for walking" to which she responded in a very serious voice " Well God made Mommy's arms for carrying." I was so exhausted at this point that it was making me mad that she was arguing with me but looking back at it she was so right and It was halarious the things she came up with once she got tired. The kids all enjoyed going to the Zoo. Hopefully I can get them out more this summer.

Schools out for summer

I can not believe it is time for school to end this year. It seems to have gone by very quickly. Plus right now outside it feels like February. My kids have grown up so much in the last year. It makes me sad to compare the first day of school pictures with the last day of school pictures. This year has been really good for the both of them they have grown so much not just physically but emotionally and spiritually as well. We all are looking so forward to the next couple months when they are home so we can spend some time with all of each other and it will be very special when we get our addition to the family as well.

Glasses

Well now Gav has glasses too and we went yesturday to have all of our checked and Bethie got a new pair also. I got myself 2 pairs and am getting contacts. Pictures of that to come.

Decisions

We have finallydecided to not go the permenant way yet. More so cause my heart wasn't in it. That and G'rat wasn't so sure about me going through surgury. So thank fully we have made a decision finally. And LVH if I could get G to see it that way believe me I would, he believes that four is way to many so we have enough. Me on the other hand I would love to have more kids. Oh well that is a topic for another day. Just wanted to update you all.

temporary or permenant?

Ok we are trying to figure out if we should go with a temporary birthcontrol meathod such as the Depo shot or some thing more permant such as essure.

Which is a more permenant solution. the only thing is it is a fairly new procedure and just the though of me going in for any type of surgury is quite scary. I am just still not sure. I mean we have 4 children but only one is both of ours and a part of me wants to have another one, but I keep getting this look from people that i am out of my mind for thinking that with already having 4 but I love having a big family. Err I just don't know. This has been a big headache of ours lately. Anyone have any suggestions? Please help any opinion or suggestion would help us. we are trying to look into all the possibilities.

I am back!!!!!!

Woot! my wonderful brother in law fixed my computer in the 2 days he has been back so now I am up and running again. I am so happy to have my computer back with its nifty card reader in it for my camera. I was not without a computer for the last month because this wonderful brother in law of mine let me use his band spanking new one that he just built until he got back and fixed mine. I so love my computer and glad it is back! Woot!!!!

one more to the bunch

Well we have finally started to take foster parent classes so we can get Brendon here with us. We are all so excited even though it will be a long process. We have 10 weeks of classes plus alot of paper work to fill out before they can even submit the paper work for us to get our license to become foster parents. And luckily we have all the family support to do this. With mom and dad watching the kids on Thursday nights so we can go to the classes it makes it alot easier. Yes it seems to be alot but i believe in the end it will totally be worth it just to have him back with us and safe from harm.

These are just various pictures of the kiddos. Katie wanted to model her new "princess" hat for us and the kids got all dolled up to go to their cousins b-day party on Saturday. They looked so cute I couldn't help but take a million pics of them!
