Yea!!!

G'rat starts his new job on Monday. I am so excited for him. He got a job with CCA and has to go through 2 weeks of training before we know what shift he will be getting so we are a little nervous about that. But I no longer will have to worry about medical insurance for myself or the kiddos so that is a super good thing. One bad thing is G'rat will have to shave and only keep his mustache which will be really weird but at least he doesn't have to cut that off. I have only seen him once with no facial hair and it is quite weird so will have to get used to the no goatee. I will post pics later when he actually does it.

In other news I was the 20,000 visitor to http://amiedanny.blogspot.com/ Amie's blog so a little present for me. yea I like reading every ones blogs it brings a little light to my day so getting a gift for reading one is great!

Other than that we are all keeping busy with school and babysitting and work and world of warcraft.

Life without The Pepper

This brown liquid has been my drink of choice for many many years. We have spent many years together and I would not leave home without one in my hand. It's oh so good sugary sweetness i will miss so much. I have decided I am giving up soda. It has been about 4 days since I have parted company with the Big DP. I have had many a migraines but have worked through them. I have decided to allow myself one every couple of days but other than that one no more DP for me. I will miss it's bubbley presence fullfilling my thirst but have decided to do something healthy and make a change for better things so I can be more active with my kids. It is very hard and have wanted one oh so badly but have been fighting the urge so strongly it has made me cry at times. Hopefully i can beat this addiction to my good ole DP and work on the next one. So please wish me luck.
