Preschool

I can't get Dougie to go to preschool anymore. He didn't go a week ago because he had a fever for 3 days. now this week we got him there tuesday but he kept walking out and crying. We couldn't get him to stay. Now today he absolutely refuses and any time I mention it he starts crying and hides. I am just wondering if it is too much on him and he still needs more time with mommy. Should I just let preschool go? In a couple months he will be starting Kindergarten. So does he really need preschool. Should I subject us both to the crying and bad feelings? Just not sure what to do.
