3rd birthday

Katie Turned 3 on Sunday but we had her party on monday night. I cried most of sunday though, I know it was suppost to be a happy thing that she turned three and is getting to be a big girl. But I finally realized that she was so big and independant and her own little person now. We finally have got her where she is going in the potty and has only very minor acidents or none at all. She has grown up so fast and is just seems like only yesturday she was a tiny baby. It is so hard when your youngest hits this big milestone. I guess it is because I realized this is the last time I would be going through all this stuff and started questioning myself about if I cherished all of these moments enough or not. But she had a really great birthday and got alot of new wonderful stuff. She keeps running from one thing to another not knowing what to play with first. She most definately likes her tunnel she got from Unle JVA And aunt SLA she wouldn't let us put it away and told me this morning if I didn't put it up she was gonna call "her" Uncle and he would tell me to.. Her face was quite halarious as she said this. And thanks to everyone for putting together her kitchen that we bought her. She fell asleep last night with the spatula in her hand cause she said she had to wake up and cook breakfast for me and daddy before he went to work. The things she comes up with sometimes. Anyway better go wake my sleeping babe.

My Quest

Well we finally got Katie on the road to potty training. She has went all week without accidents. And actually yesturday she went potty with out mommy having to remind her. And pooped in the toliet which is a big step. Just hopefully her dad continues on with it this weekend so I don't have to start back at square one on sunday evening. It will be so nice when she is fully potty trained, we still have to put a diaper or pull up on her at nap time and bed time, cause we just done trust her to not have an accident during those times and because she sleeps with us majority of the time I don't want baby peep on me, lol. We tried taking away the cuppy but yeah she would have none of that. We took the cup and tried to give her drinks in big girl cups but she just didn't drink anything. We did get her to where she now will fall asleep with out her cuppy but I guess to give in during the day a little is not a completely bad thing cause i don't want her to get dehydrated. We will try again with taking cuppy away when we know she is fully potty trained. We are trying to take stuff one small step at a time because she doesn't handle changes very well. So I am on the way to completing one of my quests and putting the other on the back burner until I finish this one. Just pray for me to have the patience with miss Katie because she knows exactually how to push my buttons. And when she gets mad at me she retaliates by standing in front of me and peeping on the floor.
